SBO Swampy could easily be Canada’s best-kept secret. The new school artist represents the urban label Morojele Music Group out of London, Ontario.

He began dipping his toes into the music scene ‘almost by accident’ alongside a childhood friend who owned recording software. His stage name stems from his real-life experiences. The abbreviation ‘SBO’ stands for ‘Shinobi Black Ops’, which was a collective that Swampy was part of throughout high school. ’Swampy’ was a nickname he coined in his youth and for that reason, it stuck.

The innovative artist recently dropped a well-equipped EP entitled “ SBO WRLD”. The tracklist features frequent collaborators Dior, Nikko North$ide, and Young Kasho.

Though the project is full of undeniable psychedelic-track bangers, on the project opener “Falling” Swampy proclaims his aptitude as a skilled hitmaker, hatching a noteworthy tune just in time for the summer.

SBO Swampy continues to reveal himself as one of the best artists to come out of Canada as his intricate lyricism never fails to amuse us. His lyrics speak to and are from the essence of the free-spirited.
Tune into “SBO WRLD” below.
