Lil Kizzle is only 16 years old but he’s already making a case for being one of the hardest young artists from Toronto. When he was 11 years old, staying in a group home, he was introduced to the idea of freestyling. Which is what sparked his initial passion for music.
While visiting a friend’s home studio one Christmas, the younger Lil Kizzle recorded music for the first time. Although the single was rough and never released, it was enough to motivate Kizzle to take music himself seriously as an artist.

Now a few years later, he has put out his debut single “Don’t Step,” through the independent label, Morojele Music Group.

The debut single capitalizes on a clear strength of the artist. The song is aggressive and drill-inspired, however, Lil Kizzle maintains a composed presence throughout the song. The production is catchy and hard, but the artist still shines on top of it.

The young artist shows off multiple flow switches and offers complete control of the beat. He comes in and out of pockets with ease. His voice is unique in tone and sounds great over the production, but we’re assured that he has even more range to show off soon.

The music video was directed by Lighter Juice and features exciting cuts and edits. The video is focused mostly on intimate performance shots of the rising artist.
